This page is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, and loads no external fonts or trackers. Nothing is collected from you by visiting it. The web server keeps ordinary access logs, which include IP address and request path, for operational purposes.
If you send an email or call, that message and your contact details are kept so the conversation can be continued. They are not sold and not shared with anyone else.
The records Radar delivers are reproduced from restaurant plan-review and licensing filings published by the state of Florida. Those filings are public records under Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes, and Florida case law (Microdecisions, Inc. v. Skinner, 889 So. 2d 871) holds that public records obtained from a Florida agency may be used commercially.
The contact details in a filing are business contacts submitted by the applicant to a state agency. Radar does not add personal information to them, does not build profiles of individuals, and does not combine these records with data from other sources.
Not everything Radar sends is a subscription delivery. To find service providers who might want to reach a restaurant before it opens, hood-cleaning companies for example, Radar sends cold email to businesses that look like a fit. If this page was reached from one of those emails, it was unsolicited and nothing was signed up for.
The contact details used for that outreach are not the filing data described above. They come from a business's own public listing: its Google Maps profile or its website, whichever publishes a business phone or email. Only publicly listed business contact information is used. These records are kept separate from the restaurant filings and are not combined with them.
Every outreach email carries a way to opt out. Opting out stops all future outreach to that business, permanently. Reply to the email, or write to aaron.p.morabito@gmail.com with the business name or the address that received it.
Permanent means the business goes onto a suppression list that every future send checks first. Keeping that promise means keeping the address on the list; deleting it outright would let the business be contacted again the next time the source data is refreshed. What is kept after an opt-out is limited to the business email address or name and the date it was suppressed. It is used for nothing else, and it is never sold or transferred.
Any business that appears in the feed can ask to be removed, for any reason or none. Removals are honored the same day, apply to future deliveries, and are permanent: the business goes onto a suppression list that every future feed update checks, so it cannot reappear on its own. For paying subscribers, the records kept are the ones needed to run the subscription: name, business, email, counties covered and billing status. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor and are never seen or stored here.
